ELLISVILLE, Miss. — Jobs are on the way with the grand opening of General Electric’s (GE) new Aviation facility in Ellisville. The factory will produce aviation components and it is expected that GE will hire 250 workers at the facility within the next 5 years.
The state provided $8 million in incentives for the company; GE is investing $56 million into the plant. Governor Phil Bryant will meet with GE aviation president David Joyce at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday for the opening ceremony at Howard Technology Park.
