Iuka Heritage Festival


August 29 – 30

Iuka celebrates their heritage at the 27th Iuka Heritage festival. There will be art and food vendors, fun activities for the kids, and local acts performing. At the Old Tishomingo County Court House there will be a marriage celebration where people can renew their wedding vows.

Prairie Arts Festival


August 30

The Prairie Arts festival in West Point is listed a top ten event for the month of August by the Southeastern Tourism Association. The festival includes fine arts, crafts, down-home southern cooking, four stages of live music, classic cars, kidsville, and more than 600 exhibits. This is one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the country.

Artwalk Downtown Ocean Springs


August 30

In Ocean Springs local artists team up with downtown businesses for the Art Walk in Downtown Ocean Springs. This festival gives you an opportunity to watch artists in action, including mixture of potters, painters, sculptors, mixed media artists, and more. There will also be vendors and live music. Celebration of the Arts and Jazz Festival


August 29 – 30

The celebration of the Arts Festival will feature various workshops at Ella Darling Elementary School Friday evening and all day Saturday at Miller Memorial Community Center. Some of the workshops include furniture restoration, filmmaking, and spoken word. Saturday Evening there will be musical performances by jazz pianist Dr. Ronald Myers and jazz saxophonist Dwayne Armstrong at Delta Art Gallery.
