Mississippi Congressmen Safe After Wild Car Chase, Shooting
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Mississippi’s Congressional Delegation is ok. None of them were hurt in that car chase and shooting just outside the Nation’s Capital Thursday.
The Capital Complex was put on lock-down and Representatives Gregg Harper and Bennie Thompson were both locked in their officers for about an hour. The woman driving the car was killed. A 1-year old riding with her was not hurt. Police say this was not an act of terrorism.
